Day 1; Arrival & Hotel Transfer
When you arrive at Entebbe Airport for your 15-day Uganda safari, our company representative will meet you and bring you to your lodge in Kampala for supper and an overnight stay at Hotel Africana Kampala.
Day 2: Kampala City Tour.
You will have breakfast before beginning your Kampala city trip, which will include visits to the Bahai temple, Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo, Uganda museum, Kabaka’s lake, and the artisan village, among other places. Have lunch and then be transferred back to the Hotel Africana. Dinner and stay at the Hotel Africana, as described above.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls.
Murchison Falls Tour on a 15-day Uganda safari.After breakfast, you will drive to the Murchison Falls National Park. It will take approximately 5 hours from Kampala and cover 305 kilometres. You will enter through the Kichumbanyobo Gate. The shortest path from Masindi to Paraa is around 85 kilometres long. You will explore the top of the falls before returning to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay at either Fort Murchison resort or Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Game Drive and Launch Cruise.
You will have an early breakfast before going on a wildlife drive to see elephants, giraffes, lions, and Uganda kobs, among other animals. In the afternoon, you will take a launch cruise on the park’s primary tourist feature, the distinctive Murchison Falls, as well as the River Nile, which has streaming hippos and a variety of crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as a vast number of other species coming down to drink and bathe. Dinner and overnight are as described above.
Day 5: Murchison – Kibale National Park
Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest.After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale National Park. This is a full-day drive with lunch on route. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse or Kyaninga Lodge.
Day Six: Chimpanzee Trekking
After breakfast, you’ll go chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is a top safari site in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale National Park, which covers 795 square kilometres, has one of Uganda’s most magnificent and diverse expanses of tropical forest.
This is home to a variety of woodland fauna, most notably 13 species of ape combined with chimps. After the trek, you will have lunch and then explore Bigodi wetland before continuing on to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and sleep at Enganzi Game Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 7: Game Drive and Launch Cruise.
You will travel on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi region, where you may encounter elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards, and other species. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast; in the afternoon, you will go on a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel to see various water animals such as hippos and crocodiles; the tour will also educate you on numerous water birds. Dinner and overnight as described above.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park, stopping for lunch along the way. Proceed to Bwindi, arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and stay at the Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge or Buhoma Haven Lodge.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi.
You will have an early breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the ranger guide before trekking into the jungle till you see the mountain gorillas. This could take 4-8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ mobility patterns. When you find them, you will be able to spend an hour with these gentle giants before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, as described above.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Lake Bunyonyi UgandaYou will have breakfast before heading to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, where you will arrive in plenty of time for lunch. Enjoy lunch in Kabale before continuing to Lake Bunyonyi, where you will start on a boat ride to various islands while admiring the spectacular scenery and abundant birdlife. You will meet the locals and learn about their life as they demonstrate their handiwork and weaving abilities for the ladies. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Resort for a relaxing 15-day Uganda safari.
Day 11: Transfer to Nshenyi Village.
You will have an early breakfast and then transfer to Nshenyi village, with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Proceed to Nshenyi village for a unique cultural experience! The town is set among the rolling hills of the Ankole Kingdom. Arrive in the evening for dinner and stay in Nshenyi village.
Day 12: Full day at Nshenyi Village.
You will spend the entire day in Nshenyi village, participating in any activities you want! You will appreciate your stay at the attractive and spacious farm, which is decorated according to local customs. Milk cows with your bare hands, accompany youngsters to school, learn how to make matooke, or hike the Kagera Trail to Tanzania’s natural border.
Let traditional dances and melodies enchant you under the starry sky, as a campfire warms the crisp evening air. Relax in nature’s raw comforts and discover the pastoral charm of unspoiled Africa. Nshenyi village provides a unique experience that you will enjoy.
Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, game drive, and boat ride.

Enjoy lunch at the resort, followed by an afternoon boat cruise where you will see a variety of birds and enjoy the experience on your 15-day Uganda safari! Return for dinner and stay overnight at Rwakobo Rock or Mihingo Lodge.
Day 14: Game Drive and Transfer Back to Kampala
Enjoy an early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the less common Topi, Eland, and Klipspringers. Burchell’s zebra and buffalo also feed in these habitats. Return to the resort for a late breakfast and lunch, then drive back to Kampala, making a halt at the equator for pictures and the experience. Proceed to Kampala, arriving in the evening. Cassia Lodge serves dinner and provides overnight accommodations.
Day 15: Airport Transfer
After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel and travel to Entebbe, where you will visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre and eat lunch. Later, transfer to the airport for your return home, filled with memories of this 15-day Uganda safari.
